Aaron Atkins is a native of the California Sierra and was born in Truckee. He grew up in Incline Village and Nevada City.
Aaron’s career history includes Head Alpine Ski Coach for the University of Utah. Aaron led his team to an NCAA National title before moving back to California where he is currently the Athletic Director for the Sugar Bowl Ski Academy.
His passion for the outdoors and sports comes from working and playing in the Sierra with Richard Atkins his father who is a general contractor and close mentor when it comes to skiing, golf, buildings houses, and appreciation for the Sierra lifestyle.
Aaron’s love for the game of golf helped lead him to the Artificial Turf business and IntelliTurf. He now lives in Truckee CA with his wife Nina, and young son Aksel.
